At the recent City Science Fair, 19 Lincoln Park High School students were chosen to advance to state competition at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Fair/Symposium to be held in May on the campus of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
In addition, two LPHS students, Sana Gafoor and Remi Korenblit, were among four students selected as finalists to participate in the International Science and Engineering Fair to be held in May in Cleveland, OH. They will compete with over 1000 other talented science students. Last year students from 38 countries engaged in the competition.
Further, four LPHS students, Shamita Chaudhuri, Sehar Gafoor, Stephanie Rosenberg, and Roger Waite, were chosen to advance to the International Science and Humanities Symposium competition to be held in May in Colorado Springs, CO.
