LPCC honors local businesses
The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce held its 13th Annual Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 8, at Salvatore's Ristorante. Marilyn Labkon of General Iron Industries was honored as Business Person of the Year. Also honored were The Chopping Block as Business of the Year and DePaul University as Community Contributor to Lincoln Park.
Founded in 1947, the LPCC is a non-profit organization of over 550 local businesses, institutions and professionals united to better serve the community and enhance the quality of life in the Lincoln Park area.
