The Lincoln Park Business Development Institute, NFP (LPBDI), a newly formed branch of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, is holding a business seminar to help business professionals in the Lincoln Park area sharpen their skills when it comes to customer service.
Everyone knows the cost of obtaining a new customer as opposed to maintaining and growing your current accounts. This session will be led by Judy Ferraro of Judy Ferraro & Associates and will cover topics including: phone and cyberspace etiquette; the importance of body language and tone; dealing with difficult customers; and how and when to say ""no" to a customer.
The seminar, for LPCC members and business professionals in the Lincoln Park community, will be held Wednesday, June 4, from 8 to 10:15 a.m., in DePaul University Library, 2350 N. Kenmore Ave., Room 400.
Discounted parking is available at the Sheffield parking facility, 2335 N. Sheffield Ave., or the Clifton Parking Deck, 2330 N. Clifton Ave.
The cost is $25 for members |
