Italy Fest

Nancy Sinatra to headline Italian Food and Wine Fest
Pop legend Nancy Sinatra will take the stage for a free concert at Oakley Ave. and 24th St. at 9 p.m. Thursday, June 12, to kick off the Sorrento Cheese Festa Pasta Vino, a four-day festival of Italian food, wine and culture in Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood. Best known for her smash hit "These Boots are Made for Walkin'," Sinatra will regale the crowd with a number of classics recorded during her 30+ years as an entertainer. Sinatra has reissued 13 of her albums on CD, and last year released her latest effort, "California Girl."
Just three days after Sinatra headlines the Festa, a special Father's Day tribute to her legendary dad, Frank Sinatra, will close this year's event. "The Three Faces of Frank" features free performances by vocalists Dakota, Vaughn Suponatime, and Jack D'Amico, who will each sing famous tunes representing different decades of Ol' Blue Eyes' career, beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 15.
