The Chicago White Sox Training Centers are coming to a diamond near you. The Training Centers are weeklong camps that teach the fundamentals of baseball to kids age 7-14. STC 1 camps are for first time camp attendees; STC 2 camps are for players between the age of 9 and 14, although players age 9-12 must have attended STC 1 in a prior summer. The Chicago White Sox Training Centers also offer fastpitch softball camps for girls age 7-14.
The cost for the camps is $179 to $189.
The baseball camps open on June 16 and July 21 at Oz Park, July 7 at St. Xavier University and Wentworth Park, June 23 at Norwood Park, July 14 at Edgebrook Park, and Aug. 11 at West Lawn Park and Hamlin Park.
The softball camps open on July 7 at St. Xavier University and July 14 at Centennial Park in Orland Park.
