Cook County Assessor Jim Houlihan, along with County Commissioner Mike Quigley and Ald. Tom Tunney (44th), are hosting an open forum to discuss property tax bills. Residential property owners have until Aug. 11, 2003, to appeal recent property tax assessments. The officials will be on hand to answer questions and receive comments from the community.
The Property Tax Reassessment Meeting for Lakeview Township (Fullerton Ave. to Devon Ave., and the lake to Western Ave.) will be held in Illinois Masonic Hospital, Olson Auditorium, 836 W. Wellington Ave., Wednesday, July 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. Wrightwood Neighbors Association plans to schedule another meeting for later in July. |
