The fifth annual Armitage Avenue Sidewalk Sale will feature more than 20 award winning, one of a kind retail shops, restaurants and services. The event is patterned after suburban sidewalk sales with bargain shopping in mind at upscale urban stores and boutiques. The sale will take place on Armitage Ave. between Racine Ave. and Halsted St., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 19, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20 (rain or shine).
The Armitage Avenue Merchants Association is a not for profit association which promotes and beautifies the avenue in Lincoln Park.
The sale will feature clothing, jewelry, decorative accessories, personal care products, and home and garden furnishings. Street entertainment will be featured and food will be available. The sale is being held in conjunction with the 34th annual Sheffield Garden Walk.
