Grant Park and dogs
The Grant Park Advisory Council Meeting on Tuesday, July 15, at 6:30 p.m., will be a very open, public meeting to discuss dog use of Grant Park as well as the possible creation of a dog-friendly area for Grant Park. The meeting will take place in Daley Bicentennial Plaza, 337 E. Randolph St.
The Grant Park Advisory Council and the Grant Park Conservancy have received many different comments regarding dogs and the many areas of the park from the very south end to the very north. The two groups seek to reach compromises through healthy public discussion to accommodate the many uses of Grant Park by all sorts of various patrons.
