C'est La Vie Drama (CLVD), in association with GLO Promotions, announces Razzle Dazzle: Excess in the City, an event designed to unveil the new and improved structure of CLVD in anticipation of their upcoming
winter production. Razzle Dazzle, to be held at Bacchus Nightclub in Lincoln Park, will include prize giveaways, with dancing and a live performance from the Sugar Babies, a new cabaret song and dance troupe inspired by "Chicago," "Cabaret," and "Moulin Rouge." CLVD hopes the event will open the door to new supporters of the company and Chicago theatre as a whole, while allowing all those familiar with CLVD to witness the new vision and mission of this up-and- coming theatre company.
The Sugar Babies feature Candice Cummings, Gina Cornejo, Laura Rufo, Bethany Williams and Kera Yates.
The night of dancing, drinking, prizes and other assorted merriment costs $20, and takes place 9 to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, in Bacchus Nightclub, 2242 N. Lincoln Ave.
