Concerts in the Parks features free live musical performances ranging from reggae, classical and jazz to children's performances, big band and pop, offering something exciting for every age and musical ear. Several North Side elected officials, community organizations and advisory councils contribute funding to make this series possible in many local neighborhoods. Concerts in the Parks will continue through Sept. 16. Welles Park, 2333 W. Sunnyside Ave., will host concerts every Tuesday at its new gazebo due to generous support from the community.
