Lincoln Park Chamber welcomes Vanille Patisserie

Seen on WGN-TV and soon to be featured on the Food Network, Vanille Patisserie has recently opened its doors in Lincoln Park, at 2229 N. Clybourn Ave. This unique pastry shop creates artful pastries using a combination of traditional European methods and modern flavors.
The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce was at the Grand Opening to perform a special ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the new shop to the neighborhood. Present at the ceremony were co-owner Dimitri Fayard as well as Laurent Branlard, Executive Pastry Chef at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL. (In the Pastry Team Championships, Dimitri Fayard was the 2003 National Champion Silver Medal Winner; and Laurent Branlard was the 2002 World Champion Gold Medal Winner.)
Keli Fayard, co-owner and pastry chef, invites the public to stop by and discover their mouthwatering works of art including passion fruit tarts, chocolate mousse cakes and dazzling displays of wedding cakes. They also offer specialty products including chocolate and sugar centerpieces. Visit the shop Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
