All concerned citizens residing between Lawrence and Montrose avenues and Damen Ave. and the Chicago River are invited to Beat 1911 meeting, Tuesday, Aug. 26, on the sixth floor of Kindred Hospital, 2544 W. Montrose Ave., at 7 p.m.
If you have seen any criminal, drug or gang activity in your area, Beat meetings provide a forum to express your concerns. At each Beat meeting a free raffle for a crime prevention device is held, and light refreshments are served.
