Dr. Prudence Dalrymple, dean of Dominican University's Graduate School of Library and Information Science, is one of only 60 female international academic faculty and administrators to be invited to attend a month-long professional seminar this summer sponsored by Higher Education Resources Services (HERS). Dr. Dalrymple, a resident of Lake View, will be receiving intensive training in educational administration with an emphasis on current issues facing academic institutions.
HERS is an independent organization established in 1972 to develop and direct programs to improve the status and career opportunities of academic professional women. Its Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration is a residential program held on the campus of Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia.
