The scary fun lasts an entire week at Shedd Aquarium's hair-raising Halloween celebration! The hallowed galleries of Shedd Aquarium come alive with spooky stories and haunted happenings this Halloween season. Shiver at the spooky sea stories and discover some creepy creatures of the deep sea at Sailing the Spooky Seas, Friday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Oct. 31, 10 a.m.—3 p.m., free with admission.
Also, Shedd Aquarium ghosts—we mean hosts—its second-ever family event, a safe and exciting Halloween alternative for the whole family. The family event takes place Wednesday, Oct. 29, 6—9 p.m. The fee is $18 ($15 members). Children age two and under are free. The John G. Shedd Aquarium is located at 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive.
