Experience the story & music of Beethoven
Pictured is Roger Ainslie as Ludwig von Beethoven, in a show that presents life from the perspective of Beethoven himself, from his childhood to a "Verbal Opus"— in which each actor's voice quality and range mimic an instrument— to a vacuum of "The Silent Years" in which deafness occurs. The Journeymen present the world premiere of "Für Beethoven" at the Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, 925 W. Diversey Pkwy. The show opens Sunday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. and then runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. through March 27 (except for Feb. 21). Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students.
