Wanted for criminal sexual assault
At approximately 4 a.m. on Monday, March 8, in the 1900 block of N. Lincoln Ave. a female subject was approached by an unknown male and was sexually assaulted in an outdoor courtyard. A knife was displayed but not used.
The offender is described as a male Hispanic, 20, 5’9”, 160 lb., black closely cropped hair, “widow's peak,” brown eyes and medium complexion. The subject was wearing dark clothing.
The offender may have offered the victim a ride from a gold/tan SUV shortly before he attacked from behind on the sidewalk.

Wanted for attempted child abduction
The Chicago Police Department needs any information you may have to help with the current investigation of three incidents of attempted child abduction from the Cabrini area over the last three months.
Incident #1 Jan. 29 7:10 p.m.
The offender is described as a black male, 30-35, 5’7” to 6’, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask. The offender attempted to lure a female child into a black van where there were other passengers.
Incident #2 Feb. 9 6 p.m.
The offender is described as a male wearing a ski mask, race unknown. He attempted to lure two female children into a brown van offering toys and candy.
Incident #3 March 3 9:35 a.m.
The offender is described as a male wearing a ski mask, race unknown. He attempted to lure two female children into a black van with brown sides.

Wanted for aggravated criminal sexual assault
Be aware of a possible crime trend of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assaults. Two of these crimes have occurred in the morning hours, between 8 and 9 a.m. These crimes have not been linked by DNA; however, they do have similarities. In both incidents, the offender has displayed a handgun. He is described as a black male, 20- 30, 5'6" to 5'10", with a medium build. These attacks have occurred in the 1400 block of W. Cuyler Ave. and the 4200 block of N. Sheridan Rd.
The objective of the Chicago Police Department is to impact Criminal Sexual Assaults through prevention and apprehension. The police are more effective with the help of citizens.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO REDUCE THE POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING A VICTIM OF THIS TYPE OF ASSAULT:
Be aware of your surroundings. If you see someone or something you think is suspicious, call 911 immediately.
If you are walking to your residence or to your vehicle, have your keys in your hands.
If possible, while traveling during late night and early morning hours, travel with a friend.
IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF A CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT:
A precise description of the offender is important in the assistance of the apprehension. Take note of the height and weight of the offender as well as the offender's complexion and hair style. Try to remember clothing descriptions and a license plate if the offender flees in a vehicle. It should be noted that in both of the above incidents the offender was on foot.
It is of utmost importance to preserve all possible evidence. If you are the victim of a sexual assault, contact 911 in order to seek medical attention and preserve evidence.
