Lake Shore Dr. has won top honors as Multi-Family Residential Development of the year at the Greater Chicago Food Depository's recent Commercial Real Estate Awards ceremony. The annual award recognizes outstanding achievement in residential living and design in Chicago.

Its design, by acclaimed Chicago architect Lucien Lagrange, recalls landmark residences of the 1920s while harmonizing with neighboring structures. Commanding a prominent site on the lakefront, the tower rises to a lushly landscaped penthouse promenade topped by a distinctive zinc mansard roof. Each residence, designed by LR Development Companyís in-house interiors group, Synthesis Architecture & Design, provides an expansive canvas for custom interior design, with 9- to 11 foot ceilings, gallery-wide hallways, gourmet kitchens, lavish baths, and signature millwork.
