Shaggy's a movie star
Shaggy, a mixed-terrier pup adopted from the City of Chicago Animal Care and Control by Joe Camp just a year and a half ago, will co-star in the newest Benji film coming out this summer, titled "Benji—Off The Leash." On Friday, June 18, meet film stars Shaggy and Benji by attending the "Benji—Off The Leash" (benji.com) sneak preview and a gala premier benefit party at the Chicago Historical Society, 1601 N. Clark St. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50 each, with the proceeds going to benefit CACC's shelter at 2741 S.
