Artists In The Garden Tour
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, enjoy a walk through the private gardens and studios of Chicago area contemporary artists in the Ukrainian/ East Village area, led by the Hyde Park Art Center. Artists include: Frances Whitehead (installation/sculpture); Layne Jackson (painting); and Alexandra and Michael Buxbaum (photography).
The tour includes refreshments and gardening answers from artist/ gardener Tara Heibel, and a viewing of the exhibition "Windows: Looking Inwards & Outwards" at The Stolen Buick Studio. The tour begins at the Sprout Home, 745 N. Damen Ave. Contact the Hyde Park Art Center at (773) 324-5520 for information and tickets. Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members. Transportation is not provided. Reservations are required.
