Harrington takes top honors in Residential Design Competition
Harrington College of Design senior Mayuni Oikawa won first prize in a residential design competition sponsored by Marshall Field’s. More than 125 design students participated in the competition. The competition called for students from Chicago’s top (FIDER accredited) interior design schools to design a reality-based two bedroom condominium at the newly constructed Skybridge Towers, located on W. Washington and N. Halsted streets. Oikawa received $1,250 for her first place rendering, while the Harrington College of Design received a $1,000 donation to the school’s residential design program.
