Bone of contention

The defendant in a heinous murder case said to look for more bones under the patio of a house owned until recently by his father. Police investigators dug in the specified spot, at a three story house in the 4100 block of N. Mozart St., three weeks ago, and did indeed find bones.
This discovery called for an out-of-town forensic expert, the famous Clyde Snow. He arrived two weeks after the dig to help the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office to examine the evidence.
Now the facts are all in. The bones belonged to an animal and not a human at all.
