Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC), the internationally acclaimed contemporary dance company, has announced the appointment of three new board members.
Trudene Giesel, of Lincoln Park, returns to the HSDC board after having served on the company's Advisory Board since 1996. She previously was a board member in the early 90s and chaired the company's annual Gala in 1992 and 2001. She has been active in theatre most of her life, appearing most recently at Victory Gardens in 1999. She has been involved with the Women's Board of Lincoln Park Zoo, having been a member since 1980 and holding all the offices including president; Illinois Wesleyan University's Alumni Association; and the Guild of the Chicago Historical Society.
Julie Langdon Antonatos, of the Gold Coast, is vice president at Nuveen Investments. She is an advisory board member of St. Chrysostom's Day School and also has served as co-chair of the school's capital campaign. She is a member of the Association of Investment Management and Research and the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago. She earned her M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Dina Norris, of River North, is a partner, systems and process assurance leader for PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in Chicago. She is a Certified Public Accountant. She has volunteered for Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly.
Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, under the leadership of Artistic Director Jim Vincent, is one of the most innovative forces in contemporary dance.
