Children's Memorial Medical Center recently announced the appointment of four new members to the medical center's board of directors. Johnnie B. "Dusty" Baker, Jr., is manager of the Chicago Cubs. Alan Chapman is a principal of Chapman Partners LLC, an investment banking firm. James M. Pierce is executive vice president and central division manager for UBS Financial Services. Peter C. Roberts is executive vice president and chief executive officer of Jones Lang LaSalle's Americas region.
The Children's Memorial Medical Center is the parent organization of Children's Memorial Hospital, Children's Memorial Research Center and the Children's Memorial Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the hospital. The Children's Memorial Medical Center Board of Directors is responsible for governing and managing the affairs of the organization including helping to define and achieve its strategic plan. All medical center board members also serve on the board of directors of the Children's Memorial Foundation.
