Dennis Foley, author of "The Streets & San Man’s Guide to Chicago Eats," will talk about some cultural and historic aspects of his favored North Side eating places on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. at Sulzer Regional Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave.
The program, co-sponsored by the Ravenswood-Lake View Historical Association and the Chicago Public Library, is open to the public and offers the audience an opportunity to question Foley about the standards he applies when choosing "pub grub" and other "eats." Low cost counts, says Foley, but high cholesterol doesn’t. Copies of Foley’s book, at $12.95, will be available for purchase and autographing. |
