Lt. Col. (Dr.) Neil R. Meccia awarded fellowship

Air Force Reserve Lt. Col. (Dr.) Neil R. Meccia has been awarded "Fellow, American Academy of Medical Administrators". This is his first medical fellowship.
Meccia is an individual mobilization augmentee to the commander of the 88th Medical Support Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH. He has 16 years of military service. He is the son of Marie C. Meccia of N. Sheridan Rd.
The lieutenant colonel graduated in 1972 from Evanston Township High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1976 from Northwestern University. He earned his master's degree in 1978 from Northern Illinois University, De Kalb, and received an additional master's degree in 1980 and a doctorate degree in 1988, both from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
