Families wanting to learn more about the area’s top private schools are invited to attend the Independent Schools Fair on Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Chicago Historical Society, Clark St. and North Ave.
The Independent Schools Fair, which will be held from noon to 3 p.m., is free and open to the public. Families visiting the Fair at the Historical Society will also be able to visit the museum free. Admissions officers will be available to discuss the offerings at their schools.
Chicago area independent schools offer a wide variety of choices for families, ranging from traditional classical programs to offerings that emphasize the arts or specialize in programs for gifted students.
The schools have been successful because they provide exceptional teaching and small classes that lead to greater attention to individual students.
