On a rainy morning last Wednesday the Lincoln Park chapter of dedicated Weight Watchers were graced with a special surprise. After weigh-ins and a review of the week's triumphs and disappointments, in walked the best known inspiration for weight watchers: the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.
Fergie has been rallying the troops for Weight Watchers about six years now. She spoke to the stunned Lincoln Parkers at the chain's Sheffield and Diversey facility. Before joining the weight loss support group, Fergie battled with some of her own demons like weight, divorce and bankruptcy which she mentioned on Wednesday. Then Weight Watchers came calling across the sea and the rest is history—today the trim Brit can boast a 50 pound weight loss and she has kept it off.
