Jimmy Buffet plan moving forward
City Council is considering a plan to permit two Jimmy Buffet concerts at Wrigley Field this summer, maybe on Labor Day weekend. If the plan is approved, 3,000 tickets of a possible 40,000 will be reserved for purchase by residents of the surrounding area. The Chicago Cubs said they would donate $100,000 of the proceeds to local schools.
