Scenes from five operas will comprise the North Park University opera workshop program on Friday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m., in Room H23 of Hanson Hall on the campus of North Park at Foster and Spaulding avenues. The 12-member ensemble of graduate and undergraduate voice students will perform scenes from Mozart’s “Cosi fan tutte,” Nicolai’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” Menotti’s “The Medium,” Charpentier’s “Louise,” and Humperdink’s “Hansel and Gretel.” All scenes will be sung in English. The event is open to the public at no charge.
