It has been a quarter of a century since Jake and Elwood’s Bluesmobile jumped the 95th Street Bridge, trashed the Daley Center, and dumped the Nazi Party in the Marquette Park Lagoon.
On Wednesday, March 2, at 6 p.m., the Newberry Library’s Wednesday Club invites Chicagoans to explore the myths, check some facts, and salute an enduring celebration of the city during “The Blues Brothers at 25.” Admission is $12, or $7 for Newberry Library Associates, and includes light refreshments.
