Rainbow Hospice seeks volunteers

Rainbow Hospice is seeking caring, compassionate patient care volunteers to serve in the Chicagoland area. Volunteers are asked to give two to four hours per week providing respite and friendly visits to patients and families who are dealing with terminal illness and end of life. An interview is required prior to attending training.
Rainbow Hospice’s next Volunteer Training Program is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, from 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The training will be held at Rainbow Hospice’s office at 444 N. Northwest Hwy., Suite 145, Park Ridge. Bilingual volunteers are especially needed.
Rainbow Hospice is also seeking volunteers to help with office work, fundraising, the annual dinner dance benefit, bereavement support and the speakers bureau/ community fairs and events.
