The Chicago Historical Society has partnered with Rotary International on the commemoration of its centennial year. Founded in Chicago on Feb. 23, 1905, Rotary has grown from a local club into a worldwide humanitarian service organization with 1.2 million members in 32,000 clubs in 166 countries. The display features historic photographs from the Rotary archive as well as images of recent initiatives. The exhibit runs through July 4 at the Chicago Historical Society, located at Clark St. and North Ave. For more information, call (312) 642-4600 or visit chicagohistory.org. |
