At long last, the expansion project of Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont Ave., is approaching completion, making it totally accessible. The expansion project created additional parking, and offers direct access to the new lobby and to each public area of the funeral home. Now there are washrooms located on the main level, and an elevator to assist people to the second floor area with two new conference rooms, and to the lower level reception areas.
Please celebrate and tour the new and improved facilities on Saturday, April 9, beginning at noon with a brief prayer service, followed by a tour and refreshments until 4 p.m. Meet the entire staff, collect information on the services and receive a living gift.
For many years Lakeview Funeral Home has promoted its Caring Program, a group of services designed to help neighbors and clients get and keep their affairs in order. These services and document follow.
* Living Will: Specify what healthcare you want provided
or withheld.
* Medical Power of Attorney: Appoint someone to be sure your healthcare wishes are followed.
* Emergency Medical Card: Indicate critical information such as medications, insurance and organ donor decision.
* Final Arrangements: Record your wishes regarding cremation, burial, funeral and memorial services.
* Grief Recovery Support Program: This provides aftercare for all family members
and friends.
