Several groups from the award-winning Lincoln Park High School Music Department will soon be presenting their Spring Concerts in the school auditorium, located at 2001 N. Orchard St. Showcasing their talents on Wednesday, March 30, at 7 p.m. will be the Lincoln Park Singers, the Advanced Girls' Chorus and the Jazz and Concert Bands. On Thursday, March 31, at 7 p.m. the Concert Choir, Orchestra, and String Ensemble will perform. In early March, students from these groups garnered 38 Division I (best) ratings at the Illinois High School Association's State Solo and Ensemble Contest.
The community is welcome to hear these outstanding young performers. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students and can be purchased at the door for each concert. Enter the auditorium at the north end of the school. For further information, call the school at (773) 534-8130. |
