Chicago premiere of Tony Award winner 'Take Me Out'

About Face presents "Take Me Out," written by Richard Greenberg. "Take me Out" is directed by About Face Theatre Artistic Director and co-founder Eric Rosen and will feature the return to the Chicago stage of About Face Theatre co-founder Kyle Hall. "Take Me Out" began performances in the Steppenwolf Upstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted St., on March 24.
"Take Me Out" follows the fall-out in the locker room when the most charismatic, successful and universally praised baseball player in the league steps out of the closet, unleashing a series of shocking events that threatens to undermine America’s best-loved team. It's described as a deeply funny, provocative story that strikes at the heart of America’s favorite pastime.
Ticket prices are $25 for previews and $35-40 during the regular run. Performance times during the regular run are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. There are no performances on Saturday, April 9.
