Gardeners can learn new ways to create container gardens and incorporate them into their garden plans this spring and summer. On Thursday, April 7, from 7 to 8 p.m., Whole Foods Market, 1000 W. North Ave., will feature a special event, "How to Design and Grow a Thriving Container Garden," with Lynn LaPointe Wiese, a licensed landscape architect. The cost is $25 per person.
