Class rings...for girls
On Sunday, March 13, during the Junior Ring Mass, Gordon Tech class rings were presented to girls for the first time in the school’s history. Showing off their rings are members of the Class of 2006, from left, Cory Bieber, Gladys Sarabria, Mariola Garcia, and Jessica Martinez. Rev. Joseph Glab, CR, on the right, celebrated the Mass, blessed the rings, and met with parents and students at a reception at the school after the ceremonies. Gordon Tech was an all-boys school until the fall of 2002, when the current junior class entered with a full complement of girls. |
