The tavern and grill named Local Option, at 1102 W. Webster Ave., has been sold. Kudan Group agent Mark Catarello handled the transaction. Local Option was owned and operated for 20 years by Hugh Haller before being sold to a corporation formed by Mike Bloem, Andy Daun and Donald Wilcox. Bloem, Daun and Wilcox also own and operate the Chicago nightclub Level and the Chicago tavern Witt's. The business continues to operate as a neighborhood tavern and grill. |
