Flute virtuoso Mary Stolper appears with the UIC Concert Band in its spring concert Friday, April 22, at 8 p.m. This free performance takes place in University Theatre, 1044 W. Harrison St., under the direction of Gene Collerd and Andrew Carpenter.
Although admission is free, donations to the UIC Band Scholarship Fund will be solicited at the door. UIC Theatre is located in the Education Performing Arts Building, 1044 W. Harrison near Morgan Street. Convenient parking is available; the Congress elevated train and CTA buses make stops within two blocks of the theatre. The public is encouraged to attend.
