The Mayfair Park Teen Club known as The Lemonhead Llamas Who Eat Angus Waffles will present David Mamet's play "The Revenge of the Space Pandas," at 7 p.m. April 29 and 30 at Revere Park, 2509 W. Irving Park Rd.
This comedy will keep both children and adults laughing and shows the true power of imagination, hard work, and friendship. "The Revenge of the Space Pandas" is about Leonard "Binky" Rudich, boy genius, who is working on a two-speed clock that will change time. When his invention springs to life, Binky, his best pal Vivian, and Bob the Sheep are suddenly spun off the earth to Crestview, the fourth planet of the Goolagong System, ruled by George Topax and guarded by the Great Space Pandas. Will Vivian get home in time to turn in her homework? Will Bob keep his wool? Will Binky get smacked with a giant pumpkin?
This production is directed by Laura Scruggs, Mayfair Park Drama Instructor, and features Aidan Bachtell, Alana Braun, Kendall Braun, Michelle Butt, Trent Frazier, Kristian Gehl, Ali Hakimi, Matt Loudon and Rachel Stuart. The set designer is Vince Scola and the lighting designer is Alex Ross.
