Chicago Sinfonietta to showcase 'Lahara' by Chicagoan Fareed Haque

The Chicago Sinfonietta, well known for its creative orchestral collaborations with soloists and other performing arts organizations, concludes its 2004-2005 season with the World Premiere of "Lahara" by Chicago composer and guitar virtuoso Fareed Haque. The concert will also feature world-renowned tabla master and Grammy Winner Zakir Hussain, and Grammy-nominated pianist Joseph Joubert.
The concert schedule is: Sunday, May 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Lund Auditorium at Dominican University; and Tuesday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Symphony Center.
Tickets for Chicago Sinfonietta concerts range from $27-$38, for concerts at Lund Auditorium at Dominican University, May 15; and $32-$85 for concerts at Orchestra Hall, May 17.
