Sheriff Michael F. Sheahan encourages the public to take extra precautions to secure their vehicles and personal belongings when visiting the grave sites of family and friends.
Follow these guidelines: 1. Travel with someone to the cemetery. 2 Lock purses and other valuables in the trunk while visiting grave sites. 3. Be aware of your surroundings before exiting your vehicle. 4. Keep your cell phone in your hand and dial 911 for emergencies.
