Caedan Jinks, age 1, has fun at his screening for scoliosis (curvature of the spine) with Dr. Estelle Nella. This is just one of many free health screenings at “Kids Day International,” open to parents, guardians and kids of all ages, Saturday, May 14, from noon to 3 p.m., at 1952 W. Armitage Ave. Also included will be free Child ID Cards, fingerprinting (Sheriff’s Dept.),dental ID exams, kids' internet safety, a bike safety seminar and fire safety tips from the Chicago Fire Department. The event will benefit the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center.
Sponsored in Chicago by Dr. Estelle Nella, Kids Day International will include clowns and characters, balloons, storytelling and face painting. Pizza from Gino’s East and other refreshments will be served.
