DANK Chicago will be hosting an open get-together from 6 p.m. until midnight Friday, May 20, in the lounge on the sixth floor of the DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Ave. This is the first time in many years that the room will be open to share friendships and make new ones. The goal is to introduce people in Lincoln Square and surrounding areas to the organization, and to invite them to share what DANK Haus has to offer.
DANK Chicago (the largest chapter of the largest German-American Organization in America) is a benevolent non-profit German-American organization. Its purpose is to preserve the German culture, traditions, and language. Membership is open to anyone wishing to join, and it draws members from all over the Chicago area.
