Since Tom Lambros Bornstein left in January, the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce has now hired Morene Dunn as executive director. She was formerly executive director of the River North Association.
The boundaries of the Northcenter Chamber are Montrose Ave. on the north, Addison St. on the south, Clark St. and Ashland Ave. on the east, and California Ave. on the west. Its 300 members represent a variety of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, antique shops and retailers and well as banks and real estate offices. The area is also enjoying a residential rebirth.
