St. Matthias-Transfiguration School, 4910 N. Claremont Ave., is producing their first-ever school play, titled "Reasons To Be Cheerful," at 7 p.m. Friday, June 3, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4. The price of admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The play has two directors: Anne Rezac and Cathleen Schandelmeier-Bartels. The cast is composed of Rodrigo Arcibar, Jerica Chan, Talia Gil, Kris Lapena, Filma Ogalesco, Sydney Pacione, Leonard Pahati, Peter Ryckbosch, Raymund Vergara, Jenny Keil, Mark Nenadaic, Lynnae Racette, MaryAnne Reyes, John Shaba and the Fourth Grade Singers, led by music master Peter C. Bartels.
The children have been working very hard on the play, from memorizing lines to learning songs, from building sets to painting props, and warmly invite you to come see them in "Reasons to Be Cheerful." |
