To the Editor:
I am shocked and saddened to hear of the destruction of the large and diverse video collection at Sulzer. I have always been impressed that a library still exists that has movies and you can not find at your local video rental or store. Unfortunately, the trend seems to be to throw out the old to make way for the new and dumbed down. Will we now have to rely on building our own collections to retain the diversity we once could rely on when visiting our local libraries? What a sad thought for us and future generations.
