Chenny Troupe Animal Assisted Therapy invites you to "Funny Bones," an evening celebrating the joy and healing power of dogs, on Thursday, June 23, at 6 p.m. at Kaleidoscope, 800 W. Superior St. Proceeds from "Funny Bones" will help support Chenny Troupe's ongoing efforts to provide free rehabilitative therapeutic programs for those with physical and emotional challenges.
Enjoy the comedy of Joe Canale, psychics, a martini bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction and raffle, and meet the therapy dogs "in person." Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased by calling (773) 404-6467.
Boasting a corps of 100+ volunteers and 60 certified, highly-trained therapy dogs that work to facilitate therapeutic successes, Chenny Troupe programs are developed in conjunction with medical professionals to serve the special needs of each population with whom we work. Thousands of individuals have benefited from the organization's programs since 1991. Programs are provided at no cost to LaRabida Children's Hospital, Lincoln Park Hospital, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Rice Child and Family Center, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, Somerset Place, Stone Institute of Psychiatry (Northwestern Memorial Hospital) and the Illinois Center of Rehabilitation and Education. |
