Local grape stomp to benefit AIDSCARE

Beaulieu Vineyard, historic Napa vintner and sponsor of the Las Vegas Centennial, is taking the winery on the road this summer in a big, red, BV-branded tour bus. The BV Vineyard to Vegas tour will stop in Lincoln Park on Saturday, June 25, and co-host a grape stomping competition with local radio station 101.9 FM The Mix to benefit AIDSCARE.
The BV Vineyard to Vegas activities will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, in Lincoln Park at Grove 2, near the Lincoln Park Zoo and South Field Athletic Area. Those attending can participate in the grape stomp and play wine education games for prizes. AIDSCARE will award one lucky participant with a trip for two to Las Vegas, and other participants will have the chance to win tickets to the Road to Vegas Collective Soul concert at the House of Blues on June 25.
"All of the money raised goes directly to providing residential housing, case management, food and support services to those in need. Every day more and more people in Chicago are infected with the virus and we are raising money for our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends and relatives who are impacted by HIV/AIDS," said Ellyn Harris, Chief Development Officer for AIDSCARE.
