The Chicago Genealogical Society is sponsoring an all day bus tour, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, of several North Side ethnic areas. A number of Italian, German, Swedish and Norwegian areas, museums, and cemeteries will be visited.
This escorted, luxury tour will take the place of the regular October meeting.
The cost of this trip is $60 for members and $75 for non-members, which includes a free year’s membership to non-members. The cost also includes lunch at one of the ethnic areas.
The trip will leave from the corner of Clinton and Madison streets at 10 a.m., next to the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Parking is available (at a cost) in this safe area.
